Please be advised that Bolton enforces a leash law as per Ordinance 33.

Dogs are NOT allowed in the town parks.
All dogs harbored in the town of Bolton must be licensed by four (4) months of age.
Licenses are issued by the Town Clerk’s office and a Rabies Certificate is required to obtain license.

Fees:

• Male/female ~ $13.00
• If spayed/neutered ~ $5.00  (proof of spaying/neutering required)

Dog License issued on or after January 15, 2006, must not expire after the expiration date of the dog’s rabies certificate. In order to receive a full year license a dog that is dues for a rabies vaccination booster within the next licensed year would need to be immunized prior to licensed renewal.
